HIGH STANDARDS OF HYGIENE AT FLETCHERS GROUP OF BAKERIES

The Client
With over 100 years of baking tradition, Fletchers Group of Bakeries is firmly established as one of the leading bakery goods manufacturers in the UK.

The Challenge
In order to maintain high standards of hygiene at its bakery, Fletchers wanted a specialist cleaning team that would be able to carry out a thorough clean of areas that were difficult to access including high level areas and ovens, without causing disruption to production.

The Solution
Pestproof carried out thorough overhead cleaning to all high level areas, including the eaves and extensive roof support girders. It also cleaned a range of production machinery from small mixers to large bread provers and ovens.  Access to some of these areas was difficult and involved working from height. It was therefore essential that Pestproof’s technicians were trained in the use of all access methods and had PASMA (tower scaffold) and IPAF (self-propelled access platforms) licenses.The work was completed to suit the production needs of Fletchers.  This often meant Pestproof worked nights, weekends and during shutdown periods.

The Outcomes
Fletchers was able to continue production undisturbed while maintaining exceptionally high cleaning standards.
